Roselle Park District - News Information

On Tuesday August 3, 2010 the ducks were back in the water at Turner Pond for the 2nd Annual Roselle Charity Duck Race. This fun filled race benefited Roselle Police Charity, Special Olympics, Roselle Fire Department Charity, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Roselle Park District Scholarship Fund (available to assist low income families).

Over 1000 spectators in attendance the day of the race. Its success was due to the generous support of local businesses that sponsored the event and those who supported the charity by buying a chance to win a prize. (Purchased the ducks). Thanks to all who added to the success of this charitable event! You will help us make a difference in a child’s life!
